I’ve been thinking a lot about Gregor Mendel lately, for a variety of reasons, especially as we enter what I lovingly call Honeycrisp season, otherwise known as fall. This was a fun thought I had in my head – what fun it would be to eat seasonal produce with this great man and chat about how some of these tasty treats got to be on our table.
